Love the composition here. Wish fish tail in foreground would have been better in focus.

Great detail in this shot. The rope is a bit distracting, but it gives the sense of a "fresh catch". 8

I found the rope too distracting from your composition.

Nice photo but the contrast on the top disturbs me.

I reallylike this one. The colours are really amazing. It gives the appearance that you shot this early dawn/sunrise, when it may have actually been a regular lamp. I also like the rope. It really adds to the texture of the shot.

Great DOF and setup here! A super job all around. I like the rope, too. My first 10 of the challenge!

I like this... the fact that its not straight on... and the dof... very interesting a really nice setup here.. love the detail in the rope etc. Wondering though... would you eat it just like this? hehehe... but I love it... refreshing, nice looking could be in a food magazine or something... maybe a bears food ;-) I also like your cojmposition the lemon in the right hand corner really adds. -10-

Good still life. A little more DOF will be greater, the sharp the strings and fish bodies.

A really well done photo. Nice composition, point of view, and clarity.

I had a very similar idea for a photo for this challenge. It was to be titled, "Pisces, Pan Fried with Lemon and Balsamic Vinegar". I was planning on frying them so they had a little curve to them and laying them out on the plate in the shape of the pisces sign. However, I never really got into a seafood mood. But back to your photo. I like what you've done. It could use a little more light on the right side of the nearest fish. A small gold reflector would add a nice warm light. I like the rope. Not something I would have thought of but it really leads the eye around in a whimsical manner and keeps the image from being too static. Very nice overall.
