 For those who don't know, the large droplets spell out Aquarius' symbol. This picture represents Aquarius' incarnation as Water (DUH!) and the orange-red background reminded my brother of mars. Thought it would be a cool title and couldn't think of anything else.
Anyway, it's basically a piece of glass with a hydrophobic solution on it for the water to become bubbly. Under it is a piece of printer paper stained in coffee, giving it the red glow, along with a strong light shining up. To the top right relative to the picture is a pair of blue filter lights at the level of the glass. [Polarizer was crucial here]
Would have liked to have a smaller aperture for this one... but I was at my limit with 8.3 at this zoom level.

I must say: Refraction is a beautiful phenomenon.

Post-Processing: Unsharpen at two different radii, small and mid. lower Gamma by a bit. Saturation increase. Crop. et Voila!

PS: The downsized version of this picture looks like crap compared to the full resolution one. It really is the detail that makes this photo so stunning. Too bad.

Nice creative idea, well executed. DOF is narrow though and would benefit your concept if most of these droplets were quite focused. Good colour and composition with excellent illusive quality.

Hard to make an opinion on this one. Technically well done, good color composition and texture. Is it a reflexion of the Aquarius in the big droplett on top in the middle? If so, very nice but I´m not sure many will detect it. Have seen pretty many pics like that but this one I think is a good one.
