 A 3 minute plus exposure here, sure the signs are blown out but I like the sky and the star and the light on the river.

Converted from raw, rotated straight for the vertical, cropped, resized, unsharp mask, saved for web.

ya, I like this one much better. The lighting is wonderful. I still want some breathing room, I think. You managed both horizontal and vertical levels this time. ;)

Great shot. Love the colours and the slow shutter speed. Pity about the light scratch, no doubt caused by an aircraft moving overhead. I have suffered from this so many times in a good photo. Luckily, outside the challenge you can clone it out and you will be left with a great shot of Perth city. 8

I was just saying to my wife, I have been to every Australian Capital city except Perth...she has been there 5 times. I might need to catch the red eye flight and come over...especially after seeing this...
