My great-niece Chanel...she's 10 and quite precocious. A sweetheart through and through, even if every other word is "Ew, gross!"

I achieved the blur through processing, because the original image is tack-sharp. I added somem film grain, some noise reduction, some contrast and color adjustments, and then a radial zoom blur in a seperate layer. I hope you like it, even if it wasn't achieved in-camera.

I like how the radial blur seems to follow the sweep of her hair.

Not achieved in camera? Blasphemy! Heretic! Burn her!! :P

My real opinion has always been clear: To me it is always the end result that matters. And this is a very nice result! I would be inclined to fade out the blur effect toward the right side of the image though.

Radial blur is my favorite. It's hard to get it just right so it adds to the photo rather than looking too contrived -- you have nailed it. Just a touch to add interest and a glowing almost halo effect.

She is beautiful! The soft blur really suits her.

Ew, NICE!!!! ;~D

The blur effect really works. The soft springy greens and pinks compliment each other nicely.
