No, there was no focus.
No, the shadows weren't important.
Yes, it was a bad picture.
No, I was not intentionally going for the brown.
Just before rollover, someone mentioned an uploading glitch in the forums. I tried to replicate it, and as I was playing with this picture for the 50 days challenge, I quickly uploaded it.
I couldn't replicate her issue, so I hit "unsubmit."
I thought.
After the rollover, there was my picture. It actually score in the threes for a little while then climbed up a bit.
Moral -- just make sure.
This is day 36 for the 50 day challenge

I thought it might be a Whiterook. But then I found one that I was sure was WR, then I started thinking that he wouldn't be so obvious, then I wasn't sure anymore. So I had another donut. ;)
lol - I remember seeing that thread. This is a very pretty abstract! Love the detail on the foreground part. You should try it again for the Wings challenge.
that would'v been pretty upsetting to think you've unsubmitted and then you see it in the challenge .. i rather like this image for its drama and its abstract quality .. very sharpless and excellent colours !!.. :)
It's actually a neat picture, just not too many shadows! For some reason I find it funny that this happened. I probably wouldn't be laughing if it were me. At least not for a long time!
Hey, It was an honest mistake. I'm proud of you for leaving it in to the end. It's an interesting abstract. Makes me feel like there's a fire somewhere. I kinda like it.
looks oof and lacks intresting shadows from the feather. If the feather is white it appears to be red in the shot, maybe a color balance correction is needed or a different light source.
