My two youngest sons were baptized today, which was very emotional and moving. The preacher doing their baptism was one of my husband's best friends, and is also the preacher who led Byron's memorial service. He was thrilled to lead my youngest boys into their public profession of faith. I am a proud mom. :)

This particular image is of Clay. He was kind of apprehensive about the whole under-water dunk, but did fabulously and was very excited to have gone through with it.

If you aren't familiar with the concept baptism, PM me and I will be glad to talk to you about it! :)

Laurie! This is BEAUTIFUL! It makes me feel emotional just looking at it. I can imagine how emotional it was for your preacher /friend -- and all of you. Thank you for sharing such a special moment with us!

a very nice image, with obviously a great deal of meaning and love for you. however, i think it would be a better photograph if you cropped off the curtains at the top and sides. this would focus the view more (the lights are very visually distracting) and make the leading line fo teh cross much mopre powerful.

This is a very, very nice image, just enough blur, perfect.

I know that you have been having a tough time lately. I am happy to see that you and family are on a good path, and that you are shooting and posting images. I hope that your photography and the DPC family will be helpful with getting your life back to somewhat normal.
