 August 4th:
This was taken at the Austin Zoo (I didn't even know Austin had a zoo until today). The guy up on the ledge was playing with this 1 yr. old white tiger & making him jump up in the air. It was fun to see how playful the tiger was & he was chasing the guy as he ran next to him by the fence.

Really a great capture - to get him in the leap like this. Just makes me sad the poor thing has to live behind a cage. But since he is 1, this is probably all he knows any way lol.

Nice action shot. The fact that the tiger's head is entirely visible within the "square" of the fencing is amazing.

I am also a bit of an anti zoo person (though in many ways I recognise the value that they play in conservation), just seeing the bars makes me a bit sad

Having said that its a very good action shot of the tiger and I love the pwoer of its legs
