Blur or no, you've got enough of an impression of sharp talon there to keep it just as startling to view it as when you took it.

Surprise of the photographer does come across, but I think pretty quick... strained red tail and talons hang against striking b&w back.

ha ha ha - I thoug it was a guy with white sleeves and black pants jumping over you. Man, that'd scare the crap out of me too. But you know what? even not knowing exacty what it is, leads to the intrigue of blur. It's cool to just sit and look at it.

close to the nest? a great, truly dynamic image. i can't say i'm mad on the black borders, though. i think it would look much better without.
