Street light on the corner near my house, shot on tripod at around 500mm (not exactly sure as I used a old non electronic 2x teleconverter), slightly shaking the camera during exposure. Best I remember it was at around f11 200 iso.

I love how the curve of the lamp holder/arm shows just slightly from the shadows. The light isn't on its own, it's held there, by a close friend, and it returns that favor by casting a gentle glow on the arm.

Unique shot and color to a very ordinary item. :)

Love it, partly because for me it forms an eye and eyebrow, but i'm not sure which eye it is, if I visulaise the other one i get 2 ver different effects depending on left or right

Hmmmm I love the colour but ....I'm not sure about it, that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Interesting. I think you could do a series, with single lights in different colors, multiple lights in different positions in the frame, and even some with blurred people near the lights.

it's not easy being green...

thinking of Jutilda's comments below, about how we see things-thi sis also how we read, think of those speed reading classes, they have you focus on certain letter combinations & your brain fills in the rest. That's also how we learn languages..is it all right brain?

I like the bright green blur

We are training our eyes to see things differently. Amazing how we recognize things even when the shapes are distorted. I like the simplicity and the lime green with all of that negative black space.
