The softer colors of this macro give this an elegant feel. Wonderful clarity in those wings...you can see each and every detail in those patterns. Great photo!

I'm really not a butterfly fan what so ever, but this is a well composed image. I especially like the soft, sparse background that doesn't detract from your subject. Maybe a tad oversharpened, but again - well done. 8

This is so impressive! It takes a real standout to compete in a challenge like this with such a popular subject. But this one certainly is! The pastel tones contrasting with that amazing macro butterfly are exquisite! One of the best butterfly photos I've seen!

Would have loved a slightly tighter crop
cleaner background would also improve an already good shot
