This is one of the two Sangria Dahlias I bought on Saturday. I put that backdrop back up to see what would happened it looks pretty good. I think it might have something to do with the color complements from the flower to the background.

Not a lot of editing on this. Layer adjusments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue/saturation. NeatImage...I shoot took dark at home....Sharpen. Some spot editing of dust and imperfections on the front petals. Resize. Sharpen.

Stunning! I love the dof & POV on this one, they seem ordinary floral arrangements, but then they go a "step better"! are you doing something different with your hair? I mean, all your images are gorgeous AND you just took a ribbon (congrats!)

I know, it must be that fancy new paper you bought..it has hidden powers! :)

control of the light is great.... background in this works well - effect provides a realism of place.
