This is a great example of how photography is not real. This moment does not exist, never existed. This boy was never frozen here, contemplating his own mortality contrasted with the pitiless concrete. He was in motion, intense motion, living perhaps without thought at that very moment. Your vision is inauthentic, imperfect and vastly more interesting. Art, in other words, in all its ineffectuality and brilliance.

Good B&W conversion, and it works with the scene.

Kids shots are always a hit, action even better, compostion is good i even like the way his hand looks to be reach out to the other kid and the way the guy in the backgrounds folded arms follow his arm.

I like the B&W, I wish it was a little sharper or much blurrier. A nice capture either way.

Nice capture - Like the low POV - Just seems a little too contrasty as the highlights are pretty blown out.

This looks like it hurts to me. Great capture. Interestingly, because of the dof and the motion of the dancer, the only thing sharply in focus are his arms - the pivotal point within his dance. Even though they're fuzzy, we can see the audiences' faces and their apprectiation of this fellows efforts. Nicely done.
