Technicals: the technicals of street photography are not as important as the feel. that being said, there are a few issues here which get in the way (see below). The glare of the glass and the dark background behind the walker's head. Some dodging could help the second. Perhaps a somewhat tighter crop would help hone our attention as well.

The feel: To me, an admitted novice of street photography, I am looking for an emotional connection. You have severe challenges here because a) the man behind the window is obscured by the glare and b) the man walking doesn't show us his face. What is going on? Why am I, as the viewer, interested in this scene? I don't recall the top 10, but I bet the majority that use people as the subject, have their faces prominently displayed.

The game: I can't comment on the game of street photog because I know so little about it... B&W seems like a natural choice though.

nice tones, and a cool feel to it, should have scored better

This is a great capture, especially with that guy in the window leveling his gaze right at you. I like how you hint at details - the half-included car, the half-included burger shop sign. Nice tones in the processing.

I think you hit the nail on the head with a small group, based on your commenters' avg score. I think this is a classic street scene, nicely photographer. I really like the guy looking out the window!

yes i agree this photo sure is out there. i wished you cropped in on the right to focus more attention on the inside guy.

I like the guy in the window and the arrow on the ground pointing to one man and another pointing up on the shirt to the other, with the open sign pointing yet another direction. I wish the sign wasn't cut off. 7

Nice capture - Love the feel to this and the guy in the window makes it - priceless - Wish we could see more on the left and get that name in fully rather than the right with not much going on in it. Still a nice candid capture.
