the shots in this collection were taken between 2004 and 2007 during my stays in iceland.

this book by Nökkvi Elíasson inspired me for doing so.

i don't know how, but everytime i went inside one of those abandoned houses i could feel the live and soul of them beeing present at that moment...

There is so much crisp detail in the sky & the grass, & it's a treatment that adds emotion to the shot.

This one has real character the way the tree is just leaning on the farmhouse and the eerie sky.
