I think it meets the challenge more than most. Clever.

funny title, but the photo itself does not convey any sense of triumph

Wow, this is very noisy. I would try reducing the ISO on your camera. It also looks like you have a light flare. Did you shoot this with the lens hood on? If not try that.

Mmmm, I'm not really a fan of pink boats. (Levels and/or curves.) I think a different perspective on this shot would add a little more interest.

Tough to rate this one very high. It's quite grainy and blurry, with some sort of artifacts or fringing near the top. Perhaps a different perspective would have improved this shot.

too grainy
08/06/2007 03:05:14 AM
Too much noise and shot appears out of focus
08/05/2007 12:38:07 PM
The focus and the color seem too far off.
08/05/2007 07:45:53 AM
Lots of noise and a magenta cast.
08/05/2007 01:58:28 AM
um this is pretty blurry - the title doesn't make gramatical sense - keep trying the composition is nice it just doesn't scream Triumph good luck
08/04/2007 03:04:51 PM
This photo is quite blowen out, and as a result, very grainy.

A white boat for the Whiterook?

It looks like you scanned an old picture
08/03/2007 12:51:19 AM
Looks like it was shot with a cell phone. If this isn't Whiterook then you are certainly going to give him some competition.

hope you get the ribbon you want. You should. LOL
08/01/2007 08:04:09 PM
Oh dear. Gunnin' for the brown? This is pretty bad. Not in focus. Nothing to do with the challenge. Ok, you asked for it - here's your 1!
08/01/2007 05:34:29 PM
very noisy & glaring image, IMO
08/01/2007 04:24:44 PM
out of focus, grainy (without apparent intent), odd blue streak. Not sure how this meets the challenge topic either.
08/01/2007 04:14:10 PM
DNMC and out of focus.
08/01/2007 03:37:31 PM
Don't care for the reddish/purple cast over the whole scene.
08/01/2007 07:11:53 AM
is it intentional?
08/01/2007 04:33:39 AM
Mmmm lots of things going against this - I don't see triumph and technically a lot of things are lacking including sharpness, too much grain, movement and composition
