Papilio glaucus, female on a stiff sunflower (Helianthus pauciflorus)

The female of this species has two forms: yellow (like the males) and black. Females have several blue scales and orange spots on their hind wings.

Impressed u know butterflies.. Never ever seem to get one. I see lot's of them and as soon as i approach a flower they are gone..
