| I like the creative effort you put into making this photograph. And the light and point of view work well, for me. Light foreground and dark background are nice too. But the element which prevents me believing (suspending my disbelief) is that this is not a table ready for any recognizable meal. Egg, glasses, paper, water, cheese, bread and fruit suggest breakfast. Yet wine, spirits and uncooked vegetables do not. I prefer a little reality in a still life - or if not reality, the surreality. This is not quite either one. But, as said, I like the compositional shape and light. |
