Was fooling around outside of the chapel where I was getting ready to shoot a wedding.
The chapel is very dark.
The bride wanted NO pictures during the ceremony.
Was ambivalent about the marching in and out.
But no flash.
:/ I've got some shots that are toast.
(One of the guests kept snapping with a pns using flash. After the wedding, one of the mothers said to the guest, "Thank you so much for getting those pictures." My sister, whom I was helping, was standing nearby and heard. She walked up and said, "I just want it made understood that we were told by the bride NO pictures at all during the ceremony, and NO flash at all in the church. That's why we didn't take any." Both the mother and the guest looked very sheepish, apparently.)
After the ceremony, they wanted the group shots outside.
thats a shame about getting it wrong re the photographs .. or rather getting it right, but wrong, all at the same time .. how confusing ... glad you earned your money .. ppl get danger money here in australia and i'm sure they do where you live too .. maybe you should'v got danger money for this shoot .. the danger of total meltdown !!! .. another very lame joke .. :) .. it looks like you got something nice out'v it tho with this lovely carpet of flowers photograph .. beautiful yellows .. :)
Ok the phrase 'I was fooling around outside the chapel' made me giggle
Now with a more sensible head on I can say another beautifully filled frame. I especially like the little dots of the white flowers interspersed among the sea of yellow brown and green, and the small pink flower on the top right is wonderfully anomalous
Well that sounds like a fun day. Interesting that the bride did not want photos during the ceremony. This just kind of reinforces the idea for me that I do NOT want to do wedding photography lol. Good for you for getting out there and sticking with it.
Pretty flowers and interesting angle. I like the pop of red there in the corner.
