 Here I am down at the beach again, but this time I'm out on the end of the wharf, not on the breakwater. This is another of those shots that I keep doing over and over again.

This is a pretty typical July morning on this part of the Pacific Coast. We get a heavy marine layer (euphemism for fog) which burns off around noon at which time we get Kodachrome blue sky, etc. Unfortunately, the tourists come out with the sun, and it's impossible to get a shot without someone walking through it. (It's great for candids, though!) So... I opt for the marine layer and no people.

Cool shot, the area feels very desolate and isolated with just the single boat and the fog, no doubt it is very different when the tourists are marching around and the sun is out, but this is a super 'side less seen' image
