This is an amusing shot and a superb idea, but it lacks something in terms of overall appeal. The composition seems a little too centralised, the path edge is distracting and the colour is a little washed out. I would suggest trying a similar shot with a different background and perhaps trying a number of different angles. Inside, perhaps with a neutral backdropâ€Â¦ Sorry to be so negativeâ€Â¦

I think you had a cute idea but the cement seems to draw me away from the subjects. I think I would have liked to see the photograph from above the apples in a circle as if perfoming an sombero dance.

Funny idea. Unfortunately the choice of background is very poor, the light is odd and it seems pale. There is even what at least appears to be a cigarret butt in the ground. Atention to details is what makes the difference in a set-up photo.

I'd like this better if the background were not divided in half... clever idea ...i'd also like to see deeper colors 5 sjgleah

interesting concept... i would love to see this one photographed from a slightly lower angle rather than from above... The flash from your camera has also watshed out some of the detail in the hats... - jmsetzler
