A little processing fest here. I know someone will not like the door hogging a bunch of space. But hey.

Forewoman and worker finishing up the construction by texturing the drywall. She was a hoot and the guys all were very fond and respectful of her.

The deed is done - except now I have no more linen closet and have to figure out where to put the yards and yards of fabric I have and of course the linens.

They were very uncomfortable with me taking photos, so I just shot a few.

I agree with Karmta, this does look like it could be an ad of some sort, good shot, you can't tell they are uncomfortable having their picturtes taken, they just look very hard at work!

Alicia, the door works well here as it really conveys the feeling of peering in on work people and the fact that it is white actually does not jar against the rest of the shot and helps give the workers more pop.

People may get uncomfortable having their photos taken, but I hope you showed them the finished pp product because I bet they would have loved it

excellent shot & i love your processing on this one ... wot did you do?? .... and yep i know all about ppl being uncomfortable when you take their photographs ... i took some down at the hardware shop a while ago and one of the guys there said 'dont take my photograph' .. i already had, but fortunately for him the photograph was not good and i deleted it ... we had a delivery from that shop yesterday and it was the same guy .. the first thing he said, looking quite scared, was 'oh, you're the photographer' ... like 'oh, you're the mass murderer' ... after we'd sort'v established that i was really an ok person despite having the camera growing out'v my face, we had a nice conversation and i'm sure both of our opinions of each other did a total turn-about ... i now see him as a nice guy who is a bit camera shy, instead of a mean and horrible person telling me not to take his photograph .. he now sees me as a borderline normal person, without some horrible mechanical/plastic/glass mutation for a face .... :)x ..

For some reason this makes me think of an album cover or something. I like the bokeh & I think the door half opened makes it almost look like you were peeking in on them. Neat shot!

Very nice work. I like the processing and the fuzz in the background.

Back again. This could very well be an ad for a do it yourself project or Home Depot or Lowe's or something . . .

But, hey, they were working! I actually like this shot very much. It shows action and tells a story.

Forewoman? I never would have guessed. That's pretty cool. I like this because you have truly captured contractors in their element. I like the door - it shows you peeking in on the action.

Nice candid. Gives a lot of perspective with the door. Definitely one for your archives of work done. I have started an album of all the changes, which will stay with the house to be added to by whoever moves in, not that we are selling or anything. Just a bit of house history for posterities sake.

I think this is a wonderful image, and the door makes it, imo. Almost like a documentary image. Very nice.

Love the pic, I think the door makes the shot.

Not sure why I like it so much actually, but something about this really makes it stand out, maybe the concentration on the Forewomans face
