 This photo was taken using evening sun coming through a window and reflected back into the shadows using a light disk. I then made a few adjustments to the tone in Lightroom and a little sharpening to the eyes and mouth. Finally I added the border and exported to jpeg.

He-he. The face of the teddy bear is nice and sharp. Looks like either she moved or autofocus missed the intended target. Very cute little lady. Good luck in the challenge.

A sweet portrait - the inclusion of the bear adds enormously to the appeal. The curtain isn't entirely in keeping with the portrait - if you can persuade your young model to cooperate in a re-shoot, how about trying it again with some net hung at the window?

This is an interesting photo, but the light hardly appears to be 'natural' light, which is the point of this particular challenge.

the lighting here seems to be coming from the bottom left of the shot, I would guess from a reflector given the clarity of the catchlights (but thats a guess and i'm far from an expert). Light from this direction has caused unnatural shadows on the face (we're used to seeing shadows caused by light from above) which I think detract from an otherwise very good photo, both technically in terms of focus and composition and also it's a great shot of the little girl.
