I really like this one. The tones/levels are gorgeous. The sharpness fell on the flower on the lower left, and wish in ways it had been wider in DoF or fallen on the main flower. It's hurting for attention. |

The detail and lighting-- excellent.. The dead flowers remind me of something unpleasant -it's a strong association currently so off i go for some medication:)

This is one of my favorite types of flower photo. You have a new bud, a fully open bloom and a finished bloom all in the same shot, and in their natural setting. Its like what the 18th century horticultural illustrations were trying to do but without the artifice.
Maybe a little jumbled behind the finished flower, but a beautiful shot. |

| A nice composition of an Hypericum, however not the best example to use. The plant is looking battered and worn with no vibrancy. Shallower DOF would have thrown the buds at the back out of focus more. |

| This is wonderful. Very nice, but I get the feeling because of the wilted bloom on the left that as the challenge goes along there will be less healthy ones to photograph! :) |

YOWZAH again Bear, although I have to say, you are going to have ahrd time in my book beating yesterday's lily you posted...
So this is LUMINOSITY eh? great colorings & very vibrant!! oh, and a very cool flower-what is it??
