 just the ususal roadside grass, but they moved so wispily when I drove by them. I backed up, pulled over, and then sat on the ground@ side of the road, shooting a few images of these.

EDIT: sharpened, adjusted brightness & contrst, crop, resize

Very nice! Love the DOF and the "wispy-ness" is just perfect...viva la roadside grasses and the brave photographers that stop to "capture" them!

Keep on clickin'! This is definitely worth stopping for--it's full of wind & sun & serendipity. Sometimes when I stop like that to get a shot, I can't recapture the magic I saw from the moving car. I admire that you have done it. WTG!

Totally wicked.....I love grasses, and hope you like mine when I upload them, as I look them while of holidays recently.....
I love the way the wind has helped with this wonderful composition.....

I love it..... I really love the play of light as well.....

It now going into my favorites, and you as a favorite photographer..... Keep them coming.....

And another thing we have in common ... love of whispy grassy kinda stuff and how they call to you and make you attract attention sitting on the roadside!!! You'll just have to do the sitting on the ground for me and provide us these magical shots.

This photo is lovely on many levels. The lighting plays nicely with the awns, the soft muted color palette, the gentle curving lines, excellent crop. I guess you can tell that I like this. ;)
