Day 14. Red

Miss Redwoody looking at a model of her dreamhouse. Actually, it's a large model (behind glass) of a Southern US plantation house that was in a home display centre adjoining the French restaurant we had lunch in. French? I had spaghetti bolognaise, come to think of it.

I've wanted to try spaghetti bolognaise for some time. I hear it's much richer than regular american spaghetti.
The photo reminds me of Gone with the Wind.

spaghetti... in a French restaurant... with a model of a Southern plantation in it. Fascinating.

As for the picture: Clever idea -- you could have fooled us. Great sharp focus on the woody, with enough blur on the house to make it look larger and further away than it really is.

I thought that was a real house until you explained. Great contrast between Miss Redwoody - color & clarity.

your woody is way cooler than mine .. love her shiny red varnished look .. actually i bought a woody and i'v never used it .. its just a boring wooden dull thing with a stick up its ..... :) ... maybe i should spend some time AND IMAGINATION and try and make it as attractive as yours .. the no. 1 works a treat .. as does this photograph .. i love how she's so crisp and sharp and the background is a blur etc .. the colouring works so well too ..
(i dont know how universal the term no.1 is .. but its when you have your head shaved .. a no.2 leaves maybe a couple of millimeters of hair and a no.3 a bit more .. )

Red woody in Japan? I guess it makes sense.

Nice use of depth of field. Pretty creative photo.
