 We met this guy in Paris right after Kiwi and Nasti's workshop in Germany. He hung around outside of Notre Dame feeding the pigeons and being really really really ridiculously good looking :)

we all took pics of him...I'm glad I was the only one who entered him :)

unfortunately I forgot about the challenge until the last minute so I didn't get a chance to edit it with the larger size...it has way more impact when it's bigger.

ah well...turned out aaaight as it is :)

whoa, i recognize that guy, i just got back from paris and that guy was out there buy Notre Dame.

Really awesome picture btw, great tones, great sense of emotion, very nicely done.

Unmistakenablly Pedro,

Done once again by bringing the subject to life and out of the picture,. Where did you lear to do this kinda stuff. Read your tutorial about dodge and burn and found very interesting.

Great work and looking forward to more Perdo's.

This is an amazing portrait. This is one of the most captivating photos I've seen on this site. love the tight crop. The image leaves one yearning to meet this man.

The man's interaction with the pigeons really takes this portrait to the next level. The tight crop works well and the clarity of details is excellent. Great photo!

Ok, that is just disturbing. Nice choice on the tight crop, though this might have worked better as a square than a rectangle.

This is a great shot for the emotion and story between the hobo? and the birds, it is rare to see such close contact but there is something about the editing that I do not like, dunno what it is, maybe to much going on around .. who knows.. anyway its still a great shot and have scored you on that merit. well done-7

I love how this photo captured the moment. It really depicts a unique individual. The color, composition, and mood are all great. The subject looking off to the side adds to it. Great job!

great shot, tells a lot about that man. good you didn't convert it in b/w (most dpcers would...). not sure whether it is the DOF or if the exposure was a tad too long, but the left dove is slighty blurred - but that's a minor flaw.

back to add as fav.

A masterpiece! Im stuck on this photo. Its one of the best photos Ive ever seen. The contours on the face, the black background consisting of pigeons. This is a special photo.
