I gave this a dash of red, crop, size and sharpen. No spot edits at all.

This is on display at the Museum of Natural History. This figure stands about 5 feet tall in a large glass case. It's part of the "Ancient Latin America" exhibit of artifacts from Mexico, Central, and South America.

This reminds me of JIm Carey in Ace Ventura when he has the asparagus spears in his mouth. On the other side, it is a good picture. Well framed and properly exposed. Good tonal values as well. 7

Very good depth of field was captured. The background blues/greens really help to set the figure apart and makes it pop out of the shot. Contrast is good especially the dark shadows under the hat and the nose. Texture was captured beautifully. You can almost feel the roughness.

Very cool statue and a good choice of POV. Nice job!

nice shot, but could have used a little better lighting, or even some yellow/gold lighting to highlight.

One of the "non-living" entries that really caught my attention! Beautifully photographed, and I would read every page of an article that told more about this pictured item. Well done.

This is a front cover shot if I ever saw one. It's missing the border though, LOL! Seriously, this is a wonderful shot, really takes me back to the covers of NG and the lighting is well done, the shadows are perfect. The only thing that bugs me just a tad is the left side, where the ear(?) is. Would like to either see it all or take it out completely. A 9

nice. I would crop out the bg though. A full frame on the statue would be a 10.

Great shot. Very National Geographic. Amazing natural lighting. I predict a top 10 finish, even higher.

Nice angle - not just straight on. Good detail.

One of my top picks. With a yellow "NG" border, I think there would have been no doubt of a blue ribbon. Good job - 10

Good NG shot, would like it with more dramatic lighting.
