I'm actually very happy with this one. After seeing some of you doing different things like texture and filters, I decided to try it. This was processed on several different layers. The front flower was processed by itself then after flattening layers I used watercolor and the canvas texture.
Here is the original of this shot.

If you look into where the red flowers are on the processed shot you can see a face... Looks like Jesus to me.

Sheryll I really like this bright bit of sunshine you've shared with us. The only thing that bothered me a bit was the yellow border being a bit bright and competing against the beautiful flowers (however, that is my opinion only).

I really like the processing on this one! Lovely yellows and I do see the face in the shadows. Nice!

It does look like a painting. Nice job with the effects. I also like the original version. It's always great when you can get multiple pictures from one shot!

Looks like Paul McCartney to me ;)

I like the effect itself but the original is so nice....

The nice thing about this side challenge is that it allows you to be creative without taking a beating with a score.
I personally like your original better, especially now that you've pointed out a face in this one.

I'm not a fan of effects in general, and I can't say I like this all that much. The original is great though.

The processing really brought out the yellow and made an ordinary shot into something special.

Well done & nice use of a border, too. I agree w/that sliver of yellow detail on the bottom--I'd clone, not crop, it out. "D

There's no writing, its just the edge petals of another flower. When I go bac and redo a lot of these from comments I'll cut a little more off the bottom though.
