I don't really understand the dichotomy here but I do like the photo. Great use of selective desat and I love the green and texture of the leaf.

Your likely to have quite a few folks that don't understand this aspect of the word Dichotomy. Well shot, but the light is a bit harsh in the upper right. Wonderful choice of the wood grain to go with the leaf.

good detail. had not cropped off the stem, the selective desat helps to focus on the leaf, though i had preferred a neutral background instead of the wooden surface. lighting could be enhanced by using a softer light source
