 OK so it was day two of the MK4U festival today. Daisy and I cycled down and just had a great time enjoying what was going on. One of those things was hairstyling and Daisy was thrilled that she could have her hair coloured (for free). She was a bit disappointed that they did not have any green (her favourite colour) spray but instead opted for silver (which is weird as I have silver in my hair and wish I didnt...And no I dont think i makes me look distinguished, just old!)

Anyway after it was finished I snapped this shot of Daisy and although techincally it may be weak I just love the smile on her face

For those of you who prefer a less indulgent shot then is one of the bands who were playing.

Daisy is a guitarist and we were having long conversations about what she thought it would be like playing at an event like this

Let me tell you, you cant predict the future but I reckon it is going to happen one day. As a parent its a scary but exciting thought

What a doll! Great smile you captured there. She looks like she's having a blast. Also looks like she's growing up faster than you like. First we can't wait to get older and then we start backpeddling and trying to get younger again. I guess the grass is always greener...

Your daughter looks lovely with silver hair, although it was a bit of a shock when I first saw the thumb -- thought she was very prematurely grey.

just lovely .. an excellent and beautiful expression .. she looks sooooooo happy .. she wont be when her hair actually does turn grew tho .. lol lol .. thats just an assumption on my part, she may be totally stoked ..
she is just gorgeous .. my daughter ali, is in york now ...

This must be none other than the famous race car driver, who was amazingly photographed several weeks ago, dodging turns at over 100 mph!!! ;) What a cute smile and I love the hair.

she's a rock star! what a cutie. how can you not love that smile- it says "dad, i am having a great time with you today! thanks for seeing me for who i am and loving me!"

She's a pretty young lady! Lovely smile - looks like she is having fun. Now that you both have matching hair colors you should have a family portrait done. hehe

Can you imagine what color it will be when she is a future rock-star guitarist? Food for thought...

I love this 'more indulgent' shot best :-) This is reminiscent of a 1960's photograph with the bright colors, a little fuzzy, a happy, smiling kid... absolutely charming!!
