 I like this shot for the dichotomy challenge because I feel it is a dichotomy on several levels. You have young and old, big and small, girl and boys, color and black and white.

This shot was inspired by my roommates daughter, whose cute and colorful shoes always get comments as people come in the house. Thanks Kaitlyn. If you want to see other pics of her, look in my portfolio, under 'People I know', and look for Clean Baby.

Not a big fan of overused partial de-sat, but this one caught my attention. It does give an interesting perspective into the passing of life and how fragile it is. I would have preferred to see the kid's shoes in Sepia, and they would still pop out. Another thing I would have tried differently is to see the scene from a lower angle.

Nice use of color vs. black and white. Maybe the older shoes could have been in rougher shape - "scarred by life" as it were. Nicely done. 8
