This is my 2 yo and my 19 yo niece in the lake. If they eat watermelon while in the lake, they don't get sticky. :) And, while it looks like Shay is standing, she is not. We are out in the middle. Kristi had an absolute blast out there. I, on the other hand, was a nervous wreck.
Your 2 year old is a doll baby! What a cutie! I like the practicality of eating in water and then being able to wash it off lol. But heck yeah, I am with you on being nervous!
Oh your entire blog made me laugh SO hard! And the photo is quite cute and it is a bit misleading. She really does look like her feet are playing in the mud of the lake! She's gooood!

She looks very young for 19 years old (I mean the one in the water).
That's a good idea about eating in the water. I guess that's why sea otters eat clams in the water. ;-Þ
