 A day at the lake. Because of Bernard's recent open heart surgery, he still isn't supposed to be outside much if it is 80+ (today was), and swimming, boat riding, etc. really hurts his chest, so he hung out in my sister's (air conditioned) camper all day.

This is my daughter giving him a kiss before we went splashing (to the swimming pool).

Very sweet photo -- your daughter is adorable and that hair is priceless. Thanks for sharing some of your story. I'm sorry to read of your husband's heart trouble. He looks so young. I hope he has a speedy recovery!

Ha, a shot that makes me smile, because those kisses from a dads daughter are the best in the world

I hope Bernard continue to make a full recovery. Looks to me like he is getting the best medicine

i think i missed something along the way .. is this your husband and has he just had open heart surgery?? ... the story behind this photograph makes it so much more meaningful .. its an excellent shot of a 'moment' and the b&w works really well .. :)
