Oh yummy!!! What a cool photo. I take pictures for a culinary school, so I am especially appreciative of the art that goes into culinary presentations like this! FANTASTIC composition!!!

Those are Tomatoes and Pepper flakes, I think the plate with the blue band
throws things off a bit espeicially with the the crop. It's just off balance. The color of the tomatoes looks beautiful.

i like the idea, cause i love taking pics of food... and I love peppers and a I love tomatoes, but there is too much going on here and the shadows are a bit harsh. This photo could have been much better, I think, if the tomoatoes had been cut open (then they wouldnt look like jelly beans) and there not quite so much pepper everywhere. Also could have benefited from a more angled approach rather than straight down.
