Focus isn't so great on this one. Still trying to learn the manual shooting. Tried this with the "bracketing" to get 3 different exposures but my main focus was to test out the water droplet idea I read about in Ross Hoddinott's book "Digital Macro Photography". He uses a small paintbrush to selectively add the water droplets. He also suggested using the camera's automatic bracketing feature and to take a pair of scissors and cut out yucky foliage or leaves with funny edges.
Would definately recommend his book. Good descriptions on how he achieves his images.

That's a neat idea to use a paintbrush to put ON droplets where you want them. I'll have to try it sometime.
I do wish this was in better focus because your composition is well thought out. Love the yellow-orange color.

awesome color & thanks for the tips. I'm lazy, so I usually go for 'wild' water drops, but the artistic ones are wonderful.

great technique! But I am so behind in all things technical, that I think it's easier to spray them on before I shoot? or wait for a rainy day :)

seriously, this is really nice.. Thanks for the tip and the reference. I need to learn more about macro photography!.
