This is just stunning. I had to look twice becaust that tree and the water behind it look so much like a spot on the waterfront in Yorktown. I've tried to get dd in that tree so many times but no luck hehe.

Wonderful photo ! Congrats !

I'd say that swing looks fine considering that you did it in "under 2 mins while trying to avoid cops". That is pretty funny. Congrats on your blue ribbon!

Congrats on the blue ribbon!!!!!! Amazing shot! =)

oh yeah, I knew Crystal back when...

Congratulations on a well-deserved win! I've also found this inexpensive little 18-55 lens does a great job, but your great composition & exposure are the real reasons for the results.
Post actions
Congratulations on your blue ribbon. I'm happy to have been one of your 10's (the only 10 I gave out in this challenge). I'm normally not a fan of IR either, but you chose the perfect challenge for it.

I'm not usually a great post-shot analysist, but I rather like the imperfection of the swing; it definitely makes it more dream-like in my mind's eye. Just my two cents, thanks! Great job. I strive for a ribbon one of these days!

Very dreamy picture... I wish she was looking at the camera... I understand why you had her look "away", but I would love to see a version of her looking towards me... calling me to come push her on the swing. 8
