		| Composition is good. There IS a lot of orange in this photo, which I think is fine, but the flowers need something more to make them stand out. Possible playing with hue/saturation or curves could bring out the yellow and green in the flower centers. They also need to be a bit more luminous. |

Orange is not one of my favorite colors so I'm wondering if that is effecting my opinion of this image. Since I find there is something not quite right here. I believe its either slightly undexposed or there is a color cast that is washing the whole thing a little to orange. The green should be greener. The focus on the petals is perfect. You have good texture, and the colors are not blinding which orange has a tendancy to do. I can't put my finger on it but technically this should be working perfectly. Maybe It is just because its my least faved color.

Ah! More delicious oranges...this is completely delightful...beautiful light and the focus is total perfection.

ETA...Longwood gardens! I love that place...I used to live in lower Bucks Co. before I moved to Tennessee. Every time I go I think about what it must have been like to have a "yard" like that...must have been a dream.
