went with my boyfriend greg, to pick up his daughter from work .. her name is elle ... i was waiting in the car just outside the hairdresser's where she works .. i noticed her boss at the counter making phone calls and doing stuff .. the combination of her boss and the poster just underneath was impossible to not photograph .. i did not get out of the car ..
it was already getting a bit dark which is why there's a reflection of the lights in the glass .. it would've probably been better without them ..
this is processed A BIT!! .. and for this 50 days, i think i read somewhere, that if we process, then that's ok as long as we give the processing steps ..

opened jpeg in CS2 ..
cropped but couldnt do a square crop because i lost too much of the image that i felt was necessary .. so i then increased the canvas size width to make the image square .. i then used xero soft vignette on the sides .. you can get this plug and heaps of others for free at this site xero free plugs
i then created a mask of that layer and erased the bits of the vignette that i didnt want to affect the rest of the image ..
i then did a levels adjustment layer where i gave image a bit more contrast and lightened the poster woman coz she was too dark ..
did another adjustment layer in selective colour where i increased the red and yellow ...
i then did filter/stylize/emboss and made it blending mode overlay ..
resized, sharpened and saved for web ..

i did a different process with another photograph of the same scene using the dragoniser action, but didnt put it in here coz i didnt give it a square crop .. i only realised that i could do the square crop by increasing the size of the canvas after i'd put the other one into my portfolio .. this is it ..

i just did another process, basic edit, and did the square crop without increasing the canvas size or anything .. the border is created by the doorway ..

Good capture. It almost looks like a multiple exposure. I like the way the poses of the figures seem to be interacting.

Took me a moment to take it all in, then I realized how cool this image is! The human looks as posed as the models in the picture, and almost as 2D! Your reprocessed image linked here is a lot cleaner and looks awesome w/o the halos etc., but the image of the models in the window is darker -- I liked the brighter images in the original. Bottom line, very impressive!

That cool looking -- it almost looks like she is their "superior" and is watching over them. I kinda like the reflections in this scene -- adds to the "urban" feeling of it.

Rare Species - that's the icing, Roz! Great catch. I love reflections like that, adding layers to a subject and giving it a twist - you have such a good eye!
