 This was another image from my ballooning experience. I had a hard time choosing between the 400 images I took, but I really liked this one. It looks spectacular, but in now way conveys what it looked like in person.

EDIT: Levels, Curves, USM that's all. The colour is from the natural sunlight coming in. I cloned out a couple of sensor dust spots. Neat Image to smoothe things out.

PREDICTION: I have high hopes for this...6.9XXX

POST: OK, thought this might do better, but I do understand many of the comments and take them on board. The glow around the balloon is actually the strong sunrise sun just behind the balloon. Thanks for the votes and comments everyone. It was a great day for me...

Lovely image, like it a lot. Love the horizontal bands from top to bottom. Rather a strong halo all around the balloon which doesn't look like natural backlighting, though perhaps it is?

I like the colors, smooth lighting, and framing here... I don't like the light halo around the baloon...

too much noise reduction and a sharpening halo around the balloon. Perhaps a lighter touch would be better.

I really, really like this, although the sky could have more contrast and there could be more foreground detail.

nice tones, but background is too soft while the balloon is oversharpened (see the glow around it?). the bright spots bottom right are distracting the view
