Challenge: After Dark (Classic Editing)
Camera: Olympus C-5050Z
Location: My future home

Aperture: f/8
ISO: 64
Shutter: 1/2000sec

I didn't really take this after dark. It was getting toward dusk and I took it with the aperture up to f/8.0 not thinking about how underexposed it would be. I thought it looked pretty cool, so I submitted it although admittedly I took it for a local camera club topic. It sorta fit and I haven't submitted in a couple months, so what the hell? I cropped this and removed the blue. That's all the editing I did. The darkness of it is all from having the aperture jacked up.

You've posed the windmill at an interesting angle - I like the monochromatic, moody feel. I would like it a smidge brighter.

Nice silhouette. By increasing the contrast in Adobe® Photoshop® you could add a lot more drama into those clounds.

I love the angle of view, the shapes and meaning, and that it's just ambient light.

The darkness helps to isolate the shape of the windmill; very nice.

I really enjoy windmills and never tire of seeing them in photographs. The tilt here adds interest, but I'm a little unsure as to why, exactly, it is there. Nice sillhouette and lovely tones here.

Nice idea, well executed. It would be interesting to re-shoot this with a vibrant sky behind the windmill.

7 from me. It's good, just a tad bit too dark. Still very nicely done.

Wouldn't sepia layer/mode be better.
