While a Sci-Fi "classic" motif, recent research at MIT seems to show that those foil hats will not protect one from any known radiations. : (

The -ve space at the top of the images is wasted imho. Would be better with a closer crop. Nice feeling and desat.

This is a classic 1980's tin foil plan. I was waiting to see one of these. I am glad you composed the photo this way. I really like the lighting and the composition.

Very nice image, and very well done, don't think I have anything bad to say, other than I would have liked the tv on the other side to have her looking at it kinda. easy fix if you wanted.

I love how you processed the girl to match the mood of the image.

Simple and to the point. very well taken and didn't require any 'special effects.' Love the fact that there is a story. 9

I like the idea and i like the fact that you didn't fill the frame with all sorts of monsters / machines just because you can.

I am wondering though why you have shot it in such an obvious way - meaning, trying to explain too much.

Why is she sitting there and why is the TV facing me? The only thing I can suggest is something I have seen before, which is to shoot from the side with a wide angle to show the kid waiting and watching the tv, and you also get to see what's on the tv screen. It would also add if the main light source is the TV itself. I think that angle is more intruiging.

Maybe you were going with a different idea. In any case, it's good.

One of the best in the challenge. Not overly processed and very natural looking. I love it. Good luck.

A frightened look upward with the face more toward the camera would have pushed this into ribbon-land IMO. I met a guy that added a copper layer to the inside of a trucker-type baseball hat that he wears at all times except thanksgiving dinner. I like this a bunch - just wish I understood what was going on with the model.

Thank you for reminding me to check up on my own aluminium foil helmet; it's a fail-proof investment so I shouldn't let it get out of shape.

btw, I think the photo is well-shot and says a lot in a simple way.

Nice take on the theme. I like it. Where did you find the relic of a tv with an antennna?
