This is a very old boat gas station out on the lake right by my house. That night my boyfriend and I went out and about, photographing for our highschool portofolio when i came across the gas station. Not only was the sunset absolutely to die for, but this broken down, stack of moldy wood, and out-of-date boats was much more appealing to me.
It made me wonder what this gas station had been through. The town i live in used to be a beautiful region for million dollar cottages, or hick type people with crappy shacks, and i just knew that this little gas station has some stories to tell.
Hopefully you like it, and see the wisdon, integrity and beauty that this little shack withholds. And not to mention, the vibrant sky only acts as a mere background, i believe it is the gas station that makes this photo so unique.
Cheers,
Jess |
