close-up of screw on fence board. Used an extension tube, hand-held in bright sunlight.

looks like many people thought the ant was the subject... that wouldn't be much of a puzzle.

This image has a subject but could use some sharpness. That's the beauty of Macro Photography to me... being able to see textures that ordinarily unnoticed.

Not sure what the puzzle here is exactly supposed to be, but the macro is fantastic, strking detail on the ant.

I like how you have the ant in the picture, but I feel like it's not much of a "puzzle macro" anymore. 5.

Great shot of an ant. I guess the puzzle is what he (or she) is on. I'd say a painted over phillip's screw. If you need more specifics, based on the color I'd guess from Caterpiller equipment.

That's a freaky looking ant, but what is it on? It kinda looked like part of a bottle opener, but I know that is not right.

Well it's an ant of course.... but you're probably looking for a guess on what the ant is on? Hmmmmm.... okay I give... don't know what it is. But this is a great shot. I love the clarity and focus of the ant and the yellow thingymabob.. Oh yes that's what it is... I knew it would come to me.
