 this was achieved with very, very little editing.

i was lucky to have a light grey sky behind this guy as he sang away, defending his territory.

all i did was adjust the levels pretty severely.

i rotated and cropped.

i added a border.

saved for web.

My fav in the challenge! Wish I could have taken a photo like this! The negative space really does it's purpose - making the cardinal "pop." Love the title also! Nice job!

the extreme processing and the centering of the wire emphasize the negative space. ok.
