This is nice but a little odd to me. It seems over sharpened in one part of the image and too soft in others. Perhaps widening your aperture and pushing the light/shutter speed could make this image happen for me.

if I am right, you are a very lucky individual! That looks like the ceremonial gold quill pen that was used to sign the very obscure bill HR5005.67248 into law at Lake Himmonomiwinniac-aahhh, MI. , that prohibits flatulence within 200 yards of any upper peninsula nunneries. That thing is worth a fortune. Are you a yooper? :-)

It looks to me like the underside of a feather. I don't know of any birds this color, so maybe you modified the colors a bit? Nice patterns of lines. Good lighting from one side.

I like the way the light plays off your object. I was guessing a feather, but now I'm not sure. Nicely composed. Like the lines radiating from the diagonal.

this is nice, but could be better. for something like this to really rock, it needs to be either soft or extremely sharp, and yours is slightly in between. love the colors, lighting, and composition of your feather.
