I really like this - I love the shallow DOF, the metallic feel, and the sense of motion created here. An excellent macro and a very nicely constructed photograph!

A shoelace going through a hole on a leather boot? Looks too shiny and clean for that, but I can't figure out what else might go through the hole.

tempting to guess shoelace but i think the hole is wrong for that. looks like a plastic object, a skate or ski boot maybe.
