Natural water gradient at sunset.
This lake had dried up for a long time and due to the rich soil, trees grew like crazy. Eventually the water came back as you can see and now looks like marshland.
Original RAW file was over 10MB at 3456x2304 and with that much detail in an 8MP image,
save for web was at 65%, which is the lowest I've ever done.
(Also another reason for the wider border)

Nice photo, but the link to the challenge is beyond me. A little sharpening would really help. I think the border adds a nice contrast, and I like the subtle colours.
