 Taken at carnival in Groton on Friday evening. The carny crew had some characters - but this guy had the best face - gritty and grizzled - perfect for a candid. I'm just glad he didn't see me taking the pictures - or maybe he did?!

The funny thing is, I had a slightly toned down version of this to enter - my original wasn't quite as orange until I did the web save, but I must have grabbed the wrong image. Looking at the comments, I think some liked the over the top colors and others definately marked down for it...you can't please everyone (even yourself sometimes...)

Nice candid, but it looks over-processed and the colors are over-saturated -- the man's face has too much yellow, at least on my monitor. I'd try this in b&w.

Love the vivid colors but the gentlemans skin appears to be orange. Good dof to make the background less cluttered.

My pet peeve is when fingers are chopped off a composition. It usually gives away photographer inexperience... watch out for that one. I'm not convinced by the composition. What is he looking at? Try to tell a story with each photo.
