Great detail and tones. I like the shadows...they make this ordinary object look appealing!

nice use of light and shadow. Love the curves of the shadow!

Love the depth & shadows of this... yes like an empty slate waiting...

Nice... the shadow to the right of the shelf feels odd with the vignette on the left side, but at the same time I think the lack of symmetry makes it more interesting since it's a centered composition.

Sort of like an open book, or a journal, waiting to be filled up with the things of a life. The white on white suggests purity.

Love the lighting and shadows in this shot Rob. Good start to the month. What's lomo action?

Great start, Rob. I like the white on white. Good lighting, detail, and the border works. You use techniques I don't know yet, such as gradient map conversion. And yes, what's a Lomo action?

I really like how you used the lighting to create interesting shadows. And also the texture from the walls stands out too. Nice job. Oh yeah ... the border works perfectly.

cool shelf ... where's the stuff that was on it? I like that you can see the texture in the walls ... you did a nice job controlling the lighting ...
