Hey Lisa,
I love the seagulls! I travel to and from work on the Bolte every day and sometimes at night it just amazes me how many seaglls there are! I also love the ITALIA thing...of course!
I didn't get to vote on all the images in this challenge, so it was good to see this now.

i'm making my second comment on this which is straight after the last one i made, as i go thru your portfolio trying to decide on the five i'm going to choose as my favs of yours for our harajuku girls inspirational task ..
i love sooooooo many things about this awesome image ... the amount of images i see in dpc is astronomical, but a few remain in my head and are easily remembered .. this is one of them ..
i particularly love the rich, deep and intense colour contrasts going on .. the fantastic dark background with those brooding clouds, seeming to hover ominously over those containers .. i didnt realise at first that the squiggly bits are actually seagulls ... thats another awesome touch ... gotta thank those seagulls!! .. the light shining on the rhs with its perfect shape .. excellent composition .. all the elements in this image work so well ... the story of these containers has been told to perfection !! .. :):)xx |

| this was one image that i remembered in the challenge, because it's such an amazing photograph ... love the darkness and the lighting .. a wonderful capture which should have done heaps better ... i reckon if some of our challenges were voted by 'proper' artists we'd get a much better and more realistic result ... :):)xx .. better for us of course !!!!!!!!! |

| That's a very interesting shot. It might be worth a return visit to zoom in and focus on the seagulls. |

| Interesting. I like the diagonal lines. What are the spirals in the sky? Kinda wish you had croped out the light post on the left side, but then you would have lost some of the blue box so maybe not. Anyway, a nice image overall. |
